Using drama exercises, professional teaching artists work with students to develop basic acting skills and explore non-theatre curriculum. Choose from our standard curriculum or work with us to design a custom program for your classroom.

Literature based workshops include Goodnight Moon, Sideways Stories from Wayside School, Holes, The Hundred Dresses, and The Red Badge of Courage, plus many more.

History based workshops range from the American Revolution and Civil War, to the Westward Movement and Civil Rights struggle.

Theatrical Skills-based workshops include Ensemble Building, Shakespeare, Playwriting, Physical Comedy, Stage Combat, and Improvisation.

SCT Production-based workshops include: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Stellaluna, The Snowy Day, Into the West, Seedfolks and Fire Station 7.

Cost

In-school programs: $100 per hour (up to 30 participants)

After-school programs: $100 per hour (up to 15 participants - SCT does not register students for after-school programs)

Discounts available for multiple bookings at the same location

(Mileage may be added for locations over 50 miles roundtrip from Seattle Children's Theatre)
